As a starting up company you want to make sure when you are going into the social media world to promote what your business is all about you have to remember a few key components to get new customers. First you want to create a personalized experience with your customers meaning you want to get a connection with your customers. Next, you want to establish a budget for your social media. It costs money and time to make your social media presence important. Such as hiring and paying someone to help you is a great option when it comes to social media especially if you don’t have much of an idea of what you are doing. Also make sure you are keeping up with your social media, if you don’t keep up with your social media you will lose followers and all the progress made towards making your presence stronger of social media. A lot of new companies who are using social media to market their product find that if they don’t follow through with it and let it run out of control they will lose a lot of business and social media is the new way of advertising more people will look at a post of Instagram than look at a poster on the side of a building. You’ll be able to achieve a much higher grade of business than you suspected. When becoming a business who just is starting out on social media you also need to remember you won’t have immediate growth overnight, it will take some time. One way to make sure you find that growth is drive traffic towards your social media such as promotional cards or on your ads let people know what websites and applications they can find your company on. I want to be able to use a strategy that allows my customers to find more information on my company but to also make their lives and questions easier. Many businesses can answer questions over the phone which some people prefer but a lot of customers want the convenience, such as typing in a question on a your social media account and having it answered without having to stop everything to make a call. Overall I think that if a company can follow these steps they will be able to not only increase their publicity but also be able to promote and sell a lot more of what they are offering than they could if they just put up a poster or billboard.
